New Havoline® PRO-DS Grades

We’re excited to introduce two new grades – 0W-40 and Euro 0W-30 – to Chevron’s Havoline® PRO-DS product line! The 0W-40 product (223513) is a premium full synthetic motor oil designed for high-performance passenger cars, as well as gasoline and light-duty diesel vehicles in all operating conditions. The Euro 0W-30 product (223512) is a high-performance full synthetic motor oil specially designed for modern European vehicles.

European automakers such as BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, or Porsche often develop unique motor oil tests based on the design of their engines or turbochargers. Their performance specifications tend to be stricter than the industry standard. Meeting these specs requires an exacting formulation science with enhanced additive technology, such as advanced detergents, dispersants, antioxidants, wear inhibitors, and friction modifiers. These additives improve performance on thermal stability, shear stability, anti-wear, anti-corrosion, anti-foaming, and anti-oxidation properties.
